Event Description
Our Strawberry Social officially begins on Wednesday, June 4th at our Des Moines Farm! This is a time to enjoy farm-fresh fruit and fun summer activities.
The fields are full of bright red berries, just waiting to be picked. Grab your friends, bring the whole family, or enjoy some peaceful solo time soaking in a bit of summer magic. Whether you've picked strawberries for years or it's your first time, there's something unbeatable about taking the first bite of a perfectly ripe berry - still warm from the sun!
Throughout the month of June, join us to celebrate the start of summer with exciting musical performances, new beverages, new cafe treats, summer activities, and of course, plenty of fresh produce to pick!

Guests can enjoy picking berries at our patch, or getting pre-picked berries at our Farm Market. Berry availability can change quickly due to demand or weather 
We will be sure to update if/when we are closing the patch to allow more berries to ripen. For guests traveling from farther away, we recommend visiting earlier in the day or calling ahead (515-216-0027) to check on the status of the patch.
You-Pick Strawberry Pricing:
You-Pick Quart (approx. 2lbs) | $9
You-Pick Flat (6 quarts) | $50
Pre-Picked Strawberry Pricing:
Pre-pick Quart (approx. 2lbs) | $12
*We do not take reservations. Berries are sold on a first come, first serve basis.
**Admission is required for you-pick guests, the admission fee is as follows.

Standard (Ages 3+) | $5
Wednesdays | $1
Thursdays | Buy one, get one free
2 & Under | Free
Play Barn Admission (for ages 3-16):
Standard | $6
Wednesdays | $1
Thursdays | $3
2 & Under, and 17+ | Free
