Join us at the Middlebrook Farmhouse for a seasonal cooking series with Mosa Shayan, Middlebrook Farm Manager and Brandy Shayan, The Grateful Chef!

As Brandy prepares a delicious, seasonally inspired dish using ingredients from Middlebrook's garden, the pair will share their tips and tricks for cooking with fresh, farm-grown ingredients. This class is perfect for anyone who loves healthy food, fresh flavors, and gathering around the table. Whether you’re an experienced home cook or just getting started, you’ll leave with inspiration for your own kitchen.

At the end of the demonstration, attendees will get to sample Brandy’s creation and enjoy the flavors of the season together. The farm stand will also be open for those that would like to purchase the produce used.

Please note: We are unable to accommodate dietary restrictions for this event.

November’s Women’s Collective is all about looking ahead with intention.

We’ll gather your ideas to shape next year’s Women’s Collective meetings, revisit the zero-based budgeting tool, and build on the goal-setting work we started during our vision board session — giving everyone time to prepare before the new year begins.

Didn’t attend the Vision Board Workshop or the “For the Love of Money” session? You are still absolutely welcome — this month’s conversation will stand on its own and be valuable either way.

What: Coffee + Conversations

Social Networking: 8 a.m. - 8:15 a.m.
Table Discussion: 8:15 a.m.
Closing Comments: 8:50 a.m.

If you like sessions that are practical, collaborative, and help you get things out of your head and into motion — this one is for you.

See you there!

The delightfully dark and wildly entertaining musical Little Shop of Horrors blends doo-wop, Motown, and rock-and-roll to tell the quirky tale of Seymour, a meek floral assistant ho discovers a strange plant with a secret thirst for human blood. As the plant grows, so does Seymour's fame- but at a horrifying cost. With catch songs, eccentric characters, and a touch of horror-comedy, Little Shop of Horrors has become a beloved staple of American musical theater.
