Amber specializes in many branches of payroll management, from on-boarding new clients, training clients and staff, to developing new innovative ways to improve efficiencies. When a client works with Amber, they can expect her to listen and understand their current goals and help to meet those goals. Clients can depend on Amber and her team to ensure deadlines are met, employees are paid accurately and on time. Outside of work, Amber enjoys spending time in nature camping with her family and friends. Amber stays busy with her husband and three kids riding all-terrain vehicles.

When LGBTQ individuals are able to bring their true authentic selves to the workplace, they are more productive, have greater job satisfaction and commitment and stay in those jobs longer. It is important to be intentional and well versed with language, policies and strategies for LGBTQ inclusion.

Join our LGBTQ Inclusion 101 session, presented by One Iowa, to learn about important LGBTQ identities, the difference between sex, gender, and sexual orientation, current LGBTQ issues, and best practices for your organization.
 
Learning Outcomes Include:
LGBTQ Foundations: Understand the difference between sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression. Differentiate between different LGBTQ identities.

Best Practices: Learn about the best practices for working with LGBTQ people including pronouns, gender-neutral language, and the art of the apology.

For The Love Of Norwalk 5K Walk & Run
Fellowship Community Church will be hosting For The Love Of Norwalk 5k Walk & Run on Saturday, June 25th, 2022. All members of the community are invited to join in this family-friendly event. The 5K will start and finish on the grounds of Fellowship and participants are welcome to run or walk along the route. Along with the 5K Run & Walk, there will be a shorter Kids Run for children aged 10 years old and younger. Following the 5K, there will be a free Kids Fun Zone with inflatables and games, in addition to a Food & Vendor Fair with many local vendors and businesses for all to enjoy. Fellowship also wishes to thank the sponsors who will be helping to make this event possible with their generous donations. If you have a local business and would like to learn more about being a sponsor, please contact Fellowship. Registration is now open for Run & Walk participants. The registration fee includes race entry, a t-shirt, and a medal. The Kids Run registration fee includes their race entry and a t-shirt. Proceeds from this event will all toward the Love Norwalk fund, which is used exclusively to assist members of the Norwalk community who are in need.
